About the Dufour 41
The 41 is the size at which Dufour's priorities show most clearly. Umberto Felci's hulls were always drawn with sailing in mind, and on a 41-footer there is nowhere for a design to hide — the boat either goes well or it does not.
This one goes well. It carries sail without complaining, points higher than most cruisers of its length, and gives feedback through the wheel that tells you what the boat is doing. If you have sailed charter boats that felt numb, this will not.
What it does not do is pretend to be bigger than it is. The accommodation is honest for the length, which means a comfortable six-person boat rather than a packed eight-person one — and a berth and a charter rate that reflect that.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation terms are set by the charter operator. We confirm them for this yacht in writing with your offer, within 48 hours of your request — before any payment.
Split payment
You pay 30% when the booking is confirmed and the balance before check-in. Fees collected by the operator on arrival are listed separately, so nothing is a surprise at the marina.
Security deposit
A refundable deposit of 5,865 EUR is blocked at check-in, or you can pay a non-refundable waiver of 800 EUR instead.
Frequently asked questions
For bareboat charter the skipper on board needs a recognised sailing license and, in most countries, a VHF certificate. If nobody in your group is licensed, book the yacht with a professional skipper.
Charter weeks normally run Saturday to Saturday, with check-in in the afternoon and check-out in the morning at the home base (Wickhams Cay II Marina).
Cross-border sailing is often possible with prior notice and additional paperwork. Ask us before booking so the operator can prepare the documents.
Fuel is normally paid on a tank-to-tank basis: you receive the yacht with a full tank and return it full.
